SCOR will hold annual meeting in Chile for the first time in 2006. The University of Concepción is also planning a workshop on “Oxygen minimum systems in the ocean: Distribution, diversity and dynamics” to coincide with the SCOR meeting. Nominations for 2006 elections for SCOR officers (Secretary and Vice-Presidents) will close on 23 June and the proposed slate will be announced by the SCOR Nominating Committee on August 23.
